I love God, simplicity, photography, and my boyfriend Ben. I can spend hours creating something and seconds destroying it. I have recently started to understand why I have the weaknesses that I do, and I now know that God will shine through them. I'm slowly becoming who I want to be, and I'm glad you've decided to join me on my journey.

I just got an email back from a photographer that wants to do a rockabilly/retro shoot with me.  Excitement.

Tomorrow I will be posting pictures from my trip to North Carolina over Christmas.  I can’t believe I totally spaced on them but I’ve been going crazy with trying to get my first engagement shoot finished up (I can’t wait to post those pictures) and get my ads ready for this spring (watch out weddings here I comeeee).  Anyway, I will be posting them on my photo tumblr here.  Like me, love me, follow me, share me.  I’ll love you forever :]

I just went through all of 2009 on my tumblr and deleted every negative thing I ever posted that year.  I have two more years to go and the rest of the week.  From now on this isn’t going to be a place for that.

I never really shared my New Year’s resolutions…  And I kind of hate making them because they’re so hard to stay true to… but here’s few

- Be more positive.  Daily.

- Lift up myself and others.  Daily.

- Rid myself of past regrets, frustrations, and lost causes.

- Build up my photography into an actual business.

- Speak my mind and say when something’s bothering me.

- Live my life glorifying God in every way possible.  Daily.

I’ve been praying for some time now that God will give me discernment when listening for his voice.  So far I believe he’s told me:

There is power in the name of Jesus,

To break every chain.

This is no longer about you.  Let my will be carried out.

I will continue to pray for this and even though I’m completely weak by myself and unsure… I’m seeing that it’s not about me anymore and I have more strength on my side than I realized..
